April Showers Are Melting the Snow into Waterfalls and Lakes!!
The sun is shining a little bit brighter and the days seem a refreshingly longer with the fresh smell of spring in the air! We are beginning to see the start of new life in the Northwoods as the snow is melting turning the grass green again and the lakes crisp and blue! The dull grey of the winter is almost nowhere to be seen! Which means it’s time to start switching out your gear for this fresh new season and start planning those summer trips you have been dreaming about during those long winter months!

Visiting the National Black River Scenic Byway is a great way to get kids out in nature after being cooped up all winter! And it won’t only be the kids who are enjoying having all that fresh air to breath in either! This Byway includes the Great Conglomerate Falls, Potawatomi, George, Sandstone, and Rainbow Falls. What makes this path so fun to explore are the signs along the path that explain the conglomerate rock formations too!
